Welcome to the second edition of our Sugarland Staff Spotlight. This month we spoke with Steve, Manager of our Mister Minit store. We are certain on your travels throughout the Centre, you would have seen Steve working hard, but always smiling, even after 6 years in the industry!
Steve’s passion for the industry started with his brother who also has worked in the industry for many many years, and like any brother, Steve wanted to follow in his footsteps and we are so glad that he decided this. Of course, his favourite thing about his job is the appreciation and loyalty from our wonderful customers, with his biggest achievements being his career, family and purchasing a home.
The best advice that Steve has for somebody wanting to start in this career is to be patient as you develop your skills and of course, have empathy and focus to keep excelling. He found that having some inspirations in his life also helped with achieving where he is today – his biggest inspirations are Paul & Kerry (franchisees), the team he works with every day & his brother.
If you don’t see Steve in Mister Minit, he is most likely off fishing, doing some karaoke or travelling.
