Sugarland Plaza will once again be the Major Sponsor of the Battle of the Schools for 2024!
The Battle of the Schools has become a strong part of the massive Bundaberg school fraternity, and a highly regarded quiz event across the region. This event celebrates the academic abilities of students in the area through a fun game show styled format, providing a huge sense of pride for those representing their school.
This year 22 primary schools from across the Bundaberg region have teams competing head-to-head over the 5 week competition for the chance to win prizes for students on the winning team.
In partnership with local radio station Hitz 93.9, CQ University & Queensland Computers the competition will test students’ knowledge in subjects such as maths, science, history and more.
This event will be held outside Woolworths each Sunday (10:30am start) and Thursday (5:30pm start) from 6th October to 10th November 2024.
