Transport and Main Roads have provided an update on the relocation of the Bus Interchange and associated works outside Sugarland Plaza on Takalvan Street.
A wider and new footpath along the Takalvan Street frontage is being constructed, and the road being excavated and built. For this work to happen, closure of the Takalvan Street entry is planned for:
- Monday, 6pm 23/05/2022 to 6am Tuesday 24/05/2022
- Tuesday, 6pm 24/05/2022 to 6am Wednesday 25/05/2022
Freight requiring access on Monday and Tuesday night can call ahead on UHF channel 33 which will allow TMR to ensure access is clear of the construction plan.
