Bear Hunt Terms and Conditions
1. Promoter
The promoter is Sugarland Plaza, located at 115 Takalvan Street, Bundaberg QLD 4670.
2. Eligibility
Entry is open to parents or legal guardians aged 18 years and over, entering on behalf of a child.
Employees of Sugarland Plaza and participating retailers are not eligible to enter.
3. Promotional Period
The competition commences on Monday 29 June 2026 and closes at 5:00pm on Sunday 5 July 2026.
Entries received after this time will not be accepted.
4. How to Enter
To enter, participants must:
Locate the eight (8) bears hidden throughout Sugarland Plaza
Submit an entry via the official online entry form, including the names of the bears and the name of the child participating
Parents or guardians may submit multiple entries; however:
Each entry must be submitted on behalf of a different child
Each child may only be entered once
5. Prize
There are twenty (20) prizes to be won. Each prize consists of:
Entry to a VIP Build-a-Bear Workshop session
Participation in the bear-making experience
One (1) pre-stuffed bear
Up to $32 worth of accessories for the bear
The VIP session will take place on:
Wednesday 8 July 2026 at 10:00am at Sugarland Plaza
6. Prize Conditions
The prize is valid for the specified session only and cannot be transferred to another date, time or person
If a winner is unable to attend the session, the prize will be forfeited and a replacement winner may be drawn
The prize is not redeemable for cash or any other alternative
All elements of the prize must be taken together and are not interchangeable
7. Winner Selection
Winners will be selected via a random draw conducted at Sugarland Plaza on:
Monday 6 July 2026 at 9:00am
8. Winner Notification
Winners will be notified by:
Email; and
Phone (where a phone number has been provided)
If a winner cannot be contacted within a reasonable timeframe, Sugarland Plaza reserves the right to redraw the prize.
9. Use of Entries
By entering the competition, participants agree to provide their contact details for the purpose of administering the competition.
Participants may opt in to receive marketing communications from Sugarland Plaza. This is optional and not a condition of entry.
10. Verification & General Conditions
Sugarland Plaza reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and ensure that multiple entries correspond to different children.
Entries that are incomplete, incorrect or do not comply with these Terms & Conditions may be deemed invalid.
Sugarland Plaza reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions if required.
Build-a-Bear Workshop – Terms & Conditions
1. Event Details
The Build-a-Bear Workshop will take place at Sugarland Plaza, Bundaberg QLD from Monday 6 July to Friday 10 July 2026.
Participation is subject to availability and booking is required.
2. Pricing
The cost to participate in the workshop is $15 per child, which includes:
One (1) pre-stuffed bear
Participation in the bear-making experience
Accessories for the bear are not included in the ticket price and may be purchased separately on the day.
3. Bear Selection
A selection of pre-stuffed bears will be available to choose from; however:
Availability of specific bear styles is not guaranteed
Selection is offered on a first-come, first-served basis within each session
4. Bookings
Bookings must be made in advance via the official booking platform
Each booking is valid for one child only
Participants must attend their allocated session time
5. Attendance
Participants must arrive on time for their booked session
Late arrivals may not be accommodated depending on session timing
6. Refunds & Cancellations
Bookings are non-refundable
If a participant is unable to attend, Sugarland Plaza reserves the right to determine whether a transfer or credit can be offered, at its discretion
7. Supervision
Children must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times during the workshop.
8. General
Sugarland Plaza reserves the right to modify or cancel sessions if required due to unforeseen circumstances.
Participation in the workshop is at the attendee’s own risk.
